Spring Training

Cubs first game in spring training is March 4th vs. the Oakland A's.  Opening Day is April 5th vs. Washington.  Go Cubs!!

We got Wood!

The Cubs have signed Kerry Wood to a $3 million one year deal.  He reportedly considered going to the Red Sox or the White Sox.  Thankfully he is staying with the Cubbies.  Presumably he will still be the Cubs closer or at least late game reliever.  Hopefully he can contribute to a successful Cubs season.
